FISHBOURNE is a parish and village, pleasantly situated about one mile and a half from Chichester, and contains a population of 317. The living is a rectory, in the patronage of the Crown. The Rev. Stair Douglass, M.A., is the incumbent. Salt Hill, the seat of Francis Smith, Esq., is exceedingly picturesque and beautiful, and commands very interesting and extensive scenery.
