|Description||A southbound goods train had just completed the descent of the steepest part of Beattock bank, on the main line between Glasgow and Carlislem and was running under clear signals at about 35mph when it was overtaken and run into with great force by a following goods train that had become out of control and, travlleing at high speed, had passed at Danger all the stop signals protecting the leading train.|
